Parma and Bucuresti battle to a draw
17 November 2007, 4:00 pm
By Scrum.com
GR.A.N Parma and Bucuresti played out a 23-23 draw in their European Challenge Cup Pool 2 clash in Parma.
Two penalties from the boot of Rima Wakarua gave the hosts an early lead before Bucuresti bounced back with tries from Stelian Burcea and captain Costica Mersoiu, the latter converted by Dan Dumbrava.

Parma responded with a try from Anthony Tahana that Wakarua converted to edge his side into a 13-12 lead going into half-time.

Dumbrava edged his side back in front with a penalty shortly after the break and extended their lead with anothe rjust short of the hour mark.

A penalty from Wakarua reduced the arrears and a try scored and converted by the flyhalf put his side in control.

But Bucuresti levelled things up with another try from replacement Vasile Rus and that's how things stayed.
