The UAR had earlier asked the International Rugby Board what conditions were needed for Argentina to become a candidate to host the event.
But according to an official report released by the body, the UAR has decided ''not to consider as a priority the idea put forward by the previous directors
to be candidates to host the 2015 World Cup''.
The report continued: ''The current board will focus on other matters as they are more important at this moment in Argentinian rugby.''
UAR new president Porfirio Carreras said: ''It could be a good idea but not at this moment. We have another priorities that are more important, focusing on a new structure of management similar to the Tier One countries.''
''Also, I think it's crucial that we can develop a plan to get Argentina into international championships (RBS 6 Nations or Tri-Nations).''
