The England Under-20s star, who can play fullback or centre, scored a hat-trick on his Falcons first team debut earlier this season, going on to make ten appearances in his maiden campaign.
The 20-year-old has also been a regular for the Falcons Development Team as they went unbeaten all season at home, finishing second in the Guinness A League.
“Alex is an outstanding young player, and we are delighted that he has agreed a new deal with the club,” said Falcons acting director of rugby, Steve Bates.
“He is naturally very athletic, has a fearless attitude to the physical aspects of the game and has demonstrated a real willingness to learn as he looks to make the step up in to regular senior rugby.”
