South Africa have been crowned IRB Under-21 World Champions after they
defeated Australia 24-20 in this year's final in Mendoza, Argentina.
Last year's champions New Zealand claimed third place by defeating France
47-21.
Argentina defeated Scotland 39-7 to secure fifth, while England overcame Wales 57-32 to claim seventh.
Ireland beat Samoa 34-17 to finish in ninth overall, whilst Canada recorded
their first victory, a 33-30 nailbiter over Italy, to end up 11th. |
