South Africa coach Peter De Villiers will name a 45-man training squad for this summer's international clashes and Tri Nations on May 17.
Before that announcement a the Springbok management team will be confirmed on May 9.

The training squad of 45 players - injuries dependent - will be named by SARU president Oregan Hoskins at ABSA Stadium at the conclusion of the final round of Super 14 log matches.

De Villiers' first test as Springboks coach comes against Wales on June 7 - one week after this season's Super 14 final.

In related news, SA Rugby have confirmed that 11 players signed one-year Springbok contracts at the beginning of the season.

They are: Bakkies Botha (Vodacom Blue Bulls), Schalk Burger (Vodacom Western Province), Jean de Villiers (Vodacom Western Province), Jaque Fourie (Golden Lions), Bryan Habana (Vodacom Blue Bulls), Ruan Pienaar (The Sharks), JP Pietersen (The Sharks), Juan Smith (Vodacom Free State Cheetahs), Pierre Spies (Vodacom Blue Bulls), Frans Steyn (The Sharks), CJ van der Linde (Vodacom Free State Cheetahs).
