Stade de France staged the 2007 Rugby World Cup final
Quins to play at Stade de France

Stade Français Paris will play their Round 3 Heineken Cup match against Harlequins at Stade de France on Saturday, 6 December.
The switch from Stade Français's much smaller Jean Bouin stadium to the home of the French national team introduces the 84th venue to Heineken Cup action for the Pool 4 match at the 80,000 capacity arena.

Stade have already played several French Championship Top 14 matches there, and set world records for attendances at regular season league fixtures.

So the 2007 French Champions must be hoping to exceed their own Heineken Cup attendance record for a pool match set when 44,112 spectators saw them beat Sale Sharks 27-16 in the 2006-07 tournament at Parc des Princes.

The announcement follows similar moves by Cardiff Blues who are staging their Round 2 showdown with Gloucester at the Millennium Stadium and Toulouse who are taking on Bath in Round 1 at Le Stadium.
