Jason White will lead Sale Sharks against Guinness Premiership leaders Bath at Edgeley Park on Friday night.
Elsewhere, Richard Wigglesworth is named at Scrum Half following his personal success playing for England in the Six Nations.

Speaking ahead of the clash Director of Rugby Philippe Saint Andre said, "Competition for the top four is intensifying by the week.

"We need to win five out of the last six games to make sure of a top four place. We are without Andrew Sheridan this week as he picked up an elbow injury in training, but he will be fit for next weeks game against Brive.

"Sebastien Bruno has been struggling with a heavy cold but he is back in training and will be among the replacements.

"Luke McAlister didn't train with us at the start of the week after picking up a knock in training but he is okay now and will be used as a replacement during the game."

Of the challenge posed by Bath he added, "They beat us at their ground with the last kick off the game and my players still remember that. Bath have been amongst the Premiership leaders all season and we will respect them throughout the game tomorrow evening.

"We beat top of the table Gloucester here a fortnight ago and a win tomorrow is our only objective."

In a late change to the line-up, Mark Cueto pulled up in training with a reaction to his hamstring injury so Elvis Seveali'i takes his place on the wing and Julien Laharrague is named on the bench.

Sale Sharks:
Ben Foden, Elvis Seveali'I, Chris Bell, Lee Thomas, Oriol Ripol, Charlie Hodgson, Richard Wigglesworth, Lionel Faure, Neil Briggs, Stuart Turner, Chris Jones, Ignacio Fernandez Lobbe, Jason White (Captain), Juan Martin Fernandez Lobbe, Sebastien Chabal

Replacements:
Sebastien Bruno, Eifion Roberts, Dean Schofield, Magnus Lund, Will Cliff, Julien Laharrague, Luke McAlister
