Munster return for Galwey
Mick Galwey is returning to Munster as a coach after starring for the province as a player

- Munster legend Mick Galwey is back at the province after accepting an offer to become a part of head coach Tony McGahan's backroom team.
Galwey, who captained the Irish outfit in two Heineken Cup finals (2000 and 2002), has been installed as Munster's Squad Advisor, a part-time position which will see him act as mentor for senior and development contracted players.
In addition, another former skipper, Anthony Foley, has been promoted from the role of technical adviser to that of assistant coach, with additional responisibility for defence. He will continue in his role as head coach of Munster's British & Irish Cup side.
Elsewhere, Paul McCarthy has been appointed as a full-time scrum coach after previously performing the role on a part-time basis. He is also charged with identifying and developing new front-row talent. The final change in senior management personnel sees Erins Owen/Mallow GAA clubman Colm Coakley named as Munster's new squad hysiotherapist.
- Bath have announced that Billy Moss is to spend the upcoming season on loan at Bristol. The Aviva Premiership club are keen for the England U20 international to secure as much first-team action as possible this term.
Bath chief executive Nick Blofeld: "Billy has been working hard in the pre-season training and we believe that this opportunity will assist his development as a player.
"We look forward to seeing him back at Bath and pushing the current First Team regulars. He is a very bright prospect, so Bristol are lucky to have him, but it is to all our mutual benefit I'm sure."
- New Zealand look set to be without Jimmy Cowan for next weekend's Tri-Nations clash with Australia in Christchurch. The scrum-half suffered rib cartilage damage during Saturday's victory over the Wallabies in Melbourne and All Blacks boss Graham Henry is not optimistic that the player will be fit to feature at the AMI Stadium. "He tells me he's going to be fine but I think he'll struggle to be right for next week," the Kiwi coach said.
