Kiwis and Wallabies make changes for Junior semi-final
France
April 20, 2000

Defending champions New Zealand make only one change for their Junior World Cup semi-final against Australia.

The change is in the second row where Mika Bradley takes the place of Douglas Fletcher.

Australia, who edged past Ireland in their quarter-final, have brought in three new forwards and have also made alterations at scrum-half and centre.

The forward revisions are at hooker, where Josh Mann-Rae is picked ahead of replacement Huia Edmonds, and in the second row and at number eight with Morgan Sigg and Robert Pitau on for replacement Mark Chisholm and Tamaiti Horua.

Patrick Phibbs is the scrum-half for tomorrow, with John McGrath on the bench, and Matthew Ferrarri is picked at centre for Rex O`Rourke.

A year ago, following their great win over Wales in the 1999 final, New Zealand's world champion Under 19s lost to their Australian counterparts so something more than just national pride, and a place in the 2000 final, is in the balance.
