Chiefs winger Sosene Anesi and Hurricanes loose forward Victor Vito have been confirmed as Super 14 players who will trial for the New Zealand team to contest next month's Rugby World Cup 7s. Up to one player from each of New Zealand's five Super 14 franchises can be made available before coach Gordon Tietjens names his squad of 12 for the World Cup in Dubai from March 5-7. It is unclear if any players have been made available from the Blues, Crusaders or Highlanders. Anesi and Vito, who have both previously starred for the New Zealand sevens team, will join a group of 20 players to undergo a training camp from Sunday. Tietjens is expected to reveal his Cup squad in the middle of next week. © Scrum.com
